Session 4: Soil Health Plans & Costing
This session demonstrates the process for developing a farm-level soil health plan. The next workshop for this session will take place virtually with the Hawai'i Island farmer cohort on 1/8/23 (4-6pm) and will cover funding sources for soil health plans, practices and resources. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Working understanding of how to use 'best availabile information' to set soil health goals and priority practices;
  • Familiarity with 'what is included' in a farm-level soil health plan and how to use it;
  • Ability to develop a strategy for implementing soil health practice(s) into existing operations;
  • Awareness of potential funding and technical resources for developing and implementing a soil health plans.
