The NRCS Cropland In-Field Soil Health Assessment Guide is included as a resource for this cohort to provide examples of the types of field indicators farmers use to assess soil health. Accompanying the guide, is a video demonstrating how to use this guide in the field. There are a handful of videos available on Youtube demosntrating the use of the NRCS Cropland (IFSHA). Although none are geared for assessing small diversified-operations in Hawai'i, the general assessment strategies can stil be applied. Efforts to generate locally based demonstration videos from Hawai'i producers is underway.
